PISA WALKING 2010

Every Saturday (at 10 a.m.)

Excursion:  The slopes of the Pisa Mountains ( 3 hrs) – Tour between the towns of Agnano and Calci, a walk thru the history of the Pisa mountain and its vegetation (flora)
- Easy excursion, 100 mt climb, the route is mostly in the shadow, participants must bring their own lunch to go.

Every Thursday (at 10 a.m.)

Excursion:  The famous Dante’s passage (3 hrs) – Between Pisa and Lucca, where the poet stopped and was stunned by the wonderful landscape.
- Medium difficulty excursion.  200 mt difference in height, participants must bring their own lunch to go.

Wednesdays  (at 10 a.m.) (only by reservation at least 48 hrs in advance, opportunity to rent bicycles).

By bike:  riding toward Bocca D’Arno (30 m – 3,5 hrs) – Leaving from Pisa, we move toward Bocca d’Arno with its characteristic big fishing nets, proceed to visit the beautiful Basilica of San Piero a Grado.

Rates daily walking tours:
from 2 to 4 pax: (25 € adults- 10 € under  years 12 - free under 5 years)
up to 5 pax (15 € adults- 6 € under  years 12 - free under 5 years)

CAPRAIA ISLAND WALKING TOURS
(only summer 2010)

Every Tuesday

- Excursion:  The nature of the island – 10:15 a.m. hrs (2 hrs) – On the pathway, searching for the typical flora and fauna of Capraia
- Excursion:  Tour of the Town – 14:30 hrs (1.15 hrs) – History and curiosity of the island

Every Friday

- Excursion:  the Penal Agricultural Colony  - 10:15 a.m. hrs ( 2.30 hrs) – history of the prisoners and their impact on the island
- Excursion:  Tour of the Town – 10:15 a.m. hrs (1.15 hrs) – History and curiosit of the island

Every Sunday

- Excursion:  The nature of the island – 10:15 a.m. hrs (2 hrs) – On the pathway, searching for the typical flora and fauna of Capraia
- Excursion:  :  Tour of the Town – 14:0 hrs (1.15 hrs) – History and curiosit of the island
- Opportunity to perform a tour of the island and caves by rubber dinghy (2 hrs, stops for swimming)

Rates: Excursion (8 € adult - 3 € under years 10  - free under years 6) - Rubber dinghy  tour 17 €

Meeting Point:

-Morning excursions:   at the dock of the “nave veloce”, Capraia.
-Afternoon excursions:  at the Church of the Assunta, Port of Capraia

Departures:  every day from Livorno with “nave veloce” Beluo (Port Mediceo)  at 08:30 a.m. hrs.  Navigation time:  1.30 hrs.
